An electronic wristwatch has a capability to carry out a function other than timekeeping. For example, the wristwatch may have the ability to perform as a radio. The wristwatch comprises a main unit provided with an electronic watch unit, plus a radio receiver, and an auxiliary unit provided with a battery for driving the radio receiver.
