PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of thin type in a take-up device, by installing a lock piece in the side of a reel, while making the device lock the reel with an engaging relationship between the reel and the lock piece, in case of the take-up device which houses a cord or the like retractably with spring force, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a cord 8 installing a power plug is rolled round on a reel 15 being energized in a winding direction by spring force, when the cord 8 is drawn out against a spring, a projection 25 installed in the reel 15 pushes a front side claw 35b of the lock piece 35, turning the lock piece 35 round, whereby a rear side claw 35c is made contact with an engaging part 34 of a plate spring 33, and the lock piece 35 is thus held at a turning position. Next, stopping a pull of the cord 8, when the reel 15 is somewhat rotated in the reverse direction by the spring, the claw 35b contacts an engaging part 25a of the projection 25, stopping rotation in the reel 15. In addition, under this condition, after the cord 8 is somewhat drawn out, the cord 8 is again retracted therefrom, the lock piece 35 is rendered coming into a state of being set free, thus cord winding takes place. |
