PURPOSE:To raise the appearance of bathtub as well as enhance comfort feeling when bathing by a method in which a drain port is provided near the corner of a bathtub, and one end of the chain of a stopper is attached to the side of a cover for a hot water tube for heating. CONSTITUTION:A hot water tube 10 for heating is provided to the inner side wall of a bathtub 8, and a cover 11 covering the surface side of the hot water tube 10 and having a side piece 11a to form a recession A is provided at the corner portion of the bathtub. A drain port 15 is also provided at the bottom portion below the corner constituting the recession A of the bathtub, a stopper 16 with a chain 17 is detachably fitted into the drain port 15, and one end of the chain 17 of the stopper 16 is attached to the side 18 of the cover 11 above the drain port 15. As a result, the chain of the stopper is covered from sight and the appearance is improved because the chain and its fittings do not project from the surface of the cover. Also, comfort feeling when bathing can be enhanced. |
