PURPOSE:To improve the temperature distribution of heating materials and to promote both the qualitative improvement of heated materials and energy saving of a related apparatus by installing skid rails made of refractory materials on the upper part of the fixed beam situated on a hearth. CONSTITUTION:Portal fixed beams 1 each consisting of water-cooling pipes are planted in a hearth 2, and a heated material 4 is moved between a walking beam 3 and the fixed beams 1. Above the fixed beams 1, many skid rails 6 of high alumina bricks with high compressive temperature or of refractory materials such as silundum are laid in rows in the longitudinal direction with heat insulating material 5 inserted inbetween. The heated material 4 is placed on the skid rails 6. Owing to the refractory materials, the skid rails 6 can be raised to the desired height, and skid marks can be reduced, so that the quality of the heated material 4 is improved. In addition, the shadow effect caused by the fixed beams 1 is improved, which leads the heating rate of the bottom of the heated material 4 to improve. |
