Seed drill for discharging seeds and/or fertilisers, having a frame, a supply container, chisel-type seed coulter and rollers for the depth guidance of the chisel-type seed coulters, the materials to be discharged being fed to the chisel-type seed coulters in adjustable quantities for introduction into the ground, the chisel-type seed coulters being connected to the frame via mountings and being adjustable in their depth of penetration into the ground by means of an adjusting device, the chisel-type seed coulters having a narrow downwardly directed chisel on their front side, as seen in the direction of travel. To provide, for the zero-tillage method, a chisel-type seed coulter which allows the seed or fertiliser to be deposited in a wide band, the chisel (16) is followed by an earth-displacement piece (30) widening rearwards in the manner of a snow plough, and the outer side walls (31) of this earth-displacement piece (30) extend vertically. <IMAGE>
