The invention relates to an exhibition construction element system which consists of a single universal construction element. The construction element is formed mainly from a web surface and parts which surround the latter and form a structure. The structure-forming parts consist mainly of a hollow column part with a longitudinal slot, an inner roller, a frame construction attached to the column part, and the web surface consists mainly of a part which can be wound onto the inner roller and can be used equally on both sides. The construction elements are connected by rigid or movable connectors which are mounted fixedly or removably on the ends of the column parts, such that the construction elements are disposed at any desired angle relative to one another.
