A solid, cold-water-soluble formulation of non-reactive, metal-free anionic dyes, which formulation contains, in addition to a) 30-90% by weight of dye, also b) 1-25% by weight of an aliphatic aminocarboxylic acid, or of a salt thereof, and c) 0-50% by weight of further auxiliaries, said components a) to c) being spray-dried as aqueous solution or suspension.
