PURPOSE:To change a linear polarization emitted from an output mirror into a circular polarization in an incident part by inclining a plane including the tube axis of laser tube by 45 deg. for the horizontal plane when arranging two laser tubes provided with the output mirror and total reflection mirror respectively at one end of them in parallel and connecting their opposite ends by folding mirrors so as to compose a carbonic acid gas laser device. CONSTITUTION:Two laser tubes 8 and 8' provided with an output mirror 9 and a total reflection mirror 10 respectively at one end of them are arranged in parallel and the opposite ends are connected by folding mirrors 13 and 13' comprising reflecting planes on their inside surface through a corner block 11. Also, an anode electrode 20 and a cathode electrode 21 are inserted in an optical path of each laser tube and an excited laser beam 6 is emitted from the output mirror 9 as a linear polarization. In this constituion, the device is put on a base with inclining a plane including a tube axis by 45 deg. for the horizontal plane of the base so as to change the linear polarization into a circular polarization in an incident plane of the laser beam 6. |
