PURPOSE:To enable to mainly magnetize a magnet without any positioning operation by forming a cutout at part of a yoke disposed between the poles of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:Cutouts 13 are formed at an interval on part of the outer periphery of a bore side yoke 7 disposed between the poles of the permanent magnet 8 of a permanent magnet rotor. When a magnetizing operation is performed, currents are flowed through two or three phases of stator windings by a magnetizing unit. In this case, even if the position of the rotor is displaced, salient poles are formed by the presence of the cutouts 13 on the rotor. Accordingly, the centers of the poles of the magnet 8 are affected by the force for moving it to the center of the magnetomotive force of the winding. Thus, the center position of the permanent magnet is moved to the center position of the magnetomotive force of the winding to be magnetized. |
