PURPOSE:To compensate simply and assuredly the linearity of a charge transfer element by connecting an amplitude suppressing resistance to an output stage in order to obtain the input/output characteristics of an emitter follower circuit which are opposite to those of the charge transfer element. CONSTITUTION:The output of a charge transfer element superposed on the DC bias is impressed to a PNP transistor TRQ1 of the emitter follower of a linearity compensating circuit 10. The input/output characteristics are saturated only at the plus side of a signal in response to selection of resistance values of resistances 17 and 18. Then the amplitude is suppressed to obtain the input/output characteristics of the emitter follower which are opposite to those of the charge transfer element. Then the integrated input/output characteristics are turned into a straight line over a wide range via a delay circuit 1. Thus it is possible to compensate simply and assuredly the linearity of the charge transfer element. |
