PURPOSE:To realize inexpensively the recording and reproduction of recording faces on which different kinds of signals are recorded by constituting the plural recording faces and heads with different kinds and qualities, selecting optionally the reference face and the reference head or changing the setting change at any time. CONSTITUTION:Recording faces 3-6 of different kinds and qualities such as electrostatic capacitance type recording, magnetic recording or optical recording are provided to a double side disc 2 and heads 7-10 of different kinds and qualities are provided to one arm 11. The command for the use is stored in a command memory 19 as a command. In using two heads, a control circuit 13 decodes a command A, selects one reference recording face and the reference head, an arm drive control mechanism 12 is controlled as the information from the head, other head is selected by a command B so as to record and reproduce the signal. Thus, the recording and reproduction of different kinds of recording faces are conducted inexpensively. |
