PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive press with which different shut heights can be easily obtd. by constituting pressing plates pulled and mounted by means of a spring to an upper frame in such a way that the plates can be screwed to and unscrewed from a spacer plate interposed between said plates and the upper frame by means of a relative screw. CONSTITUTION:Plural pressing plates 71 are pulled and mounted to an upper frame 6, which ascends and desceds at a specified stroke with respect to a bolster (not shown), by means of a spring 74a via a supporting shaft 75 with a press device provided with said frame 6. A spacer plate 72 which contacts with the bottom surface of the frame 6 is interposed and disposed between the plates 71 and the frame 6 and the plate 72 is screwed to the plates 71 in suc a way that said plate can be screwed to and unscrewed from the pressing plates by means of a relative screw 73 thereby permitting easy change of the shut height. A cam handle 8 supported pivotally to a bracket 81 is equipped to the upper part of the frame 6 and the above-mentioned supporting shaft 75 is depressed by which the shut height is easily adjusted. |
