PURPOSE:To eject a molten metal into liquid flow and to produce continuously a fine metallic wire by the construction consisting of providing two cylindrical rotary drums in a threading spacing so as to face each other, providing successively the drums in series, bringing an endless flat belt into tight contact with the outside circumference of the spacing to form a groove bottom, pouring a cooling liquid from above, forming a liquid layer by centrifugal force and taking out said layer from below. CONSTITUTION:The respective thick walled ends 13, 13' of the entire circumference of two pieces of cylindrical rotary drums 11, 11' having the same diameter are provided to face a prescribed threading spacing and are successively provided in series in a way that the drums can be simultaneously rotated. An endless flat belt 15 is brought into tight contact with the greater part of the threading spacing by means of a driving pulley 16 and plural pulleys 17, 18, 19 on the outside circumferential surface of the threading space and at the same time both drums 11, 11' are simultaneously rotated by the pulley 16. A liquid pouring part 21 is provided near the upper point where the belt 15 contacts tightly the space first and a liquid taking out part 22 and a port 32 for taking out a fine metallic wire are provided near the lower point off the threading space. The top end of a nozzle 28 is disposed in a part above a liquid groove 20 when a liquid layer is formed in the groove 20. |
