NEW DERIVATIVES OF POLYCARBON SULPHIDE,THEIR PREPARATION AND USE IN PARTICULAR IN THE ELECTROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Polycarbon sulphide derivatives containing units Rx(CSm)n in which R denotes H, an alkali metal or a transition metal, x the degree of insertion of R in the carbon-sulphur structure, m the degree of substitution by sulphur and n the number of units in the polymer chain. The insertion of R is reversible, as shown by the single figure.
