A semi trailer intended to be placed in a wagon and comprising a variable height suspension characterized in that it is provided at its front part either with an auxiliary king pin (7) which is fixed on a raised set back portion (6') of the longitudinal members and on a raised support (12) fixed to the front of these longitudinal members, the auxiliary king pin (7) being thus placed at a higher level (height h) than the normal king pin (8) or with anchorage pieces (15) placed substantially at the same level as the normal king pin (8) and in which may be engaged pins (13) provided directly on the shafts of the wagon.</p> |
