PURPOSE:To automatically regulate the vibration of a shaft without stopping the operation of a rotary electric machine by heating a rotor section in a direction for cancelling the unbalanced weight of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:Vibration data detected from a rotating rotor 1 which is supported by bearings 2 is processed by a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 calculates the position of an unbalance weight on the basis of the data, converts the balance weight to a current and outputs it. A heating position signal of one of the outputs of the microcomputer 4 is fed to the inner switch box 8 of the rotor 1 through a transmitter 13, another current value control signal is fed to an automatic voltage regulator 7, and a tees 12 of a proper position is heated by a suitable current so that the vibration of the shaft becomes zero. |
