<p>Sewing machine work holder comprises several adjacent and relatively displaceable supports for individual fabric panels. Movements of the supports for contour sewing are template controlled. Workpiece edge regions are impaled by a presser on needles at a rim zone of the support. The needles are on levers operable to cause the needles to protrude through holes in crossbars of the support, so that the needles hold the fabric panel without clamping. Springs hold the levers in needles-raised positions. Automatic contour sewing machine with readily exchangeable supports for fabric panels of different ranges of size.</p> |
