PURPOSE:To manufacture a needle bearing having a desired length, by a method wherein only the one end in a longitudinal direction of a fretainer space forms a closed end, and the other end forms an open end. CONSTITUTION:A releasing end 14 side of a retainer space 12 is cut, a retainer body 11 on the closed end 13 is sized to be M long, and a needle 15, which is cut to length matching the length of the retainer space 12 in the retainer body 11 having the length M, is then placed in the retainer space 12. In this case, a needle 15 is placed against projection parts 16 protruding toward the retainer space 12 on the outer periphery side of the retainer body 11. The needle 15 is inhibited against coming out by means of the projection part 16 on the outer periphery side and projection parts 17 on the inner periphery side, and thereby, through cutting of the retainer body 11, a needle bearing having a necessary length can be made as occasion demands. |
