PURPOSE:To obtain a speed change ratio corresponding to a change speed of acceleration by offsetting a speed change control characteristic to the side where shift-down is dominant when a speed change of acceleration is large, and increasing the offset change with the larger change speed. CONSTITUTION:A speed change ratio variable means is provided on a stepless speed change mechanism, and the speed change ratio variable means is controlled by a speed change ratio change control means, so that usually, a speed change ratio is obtained according to a speed change control characteristic, and when the change speed of acceleration is large, a speed change characteristic is offset corresponding to the degree of change speed in direction such that shift-down is dominant by speed change control characteristic change means which receives an output from acceleration change detection means for detecting a change speed. Thus, a speed change ratio, that is, torque can be obtained corresponding to the change speed of acceleration. |
