<p>The power-driven toothbrush is accommodated in a convetional housing. It has a disc mounted on a rotary driven component and with one or more eccentric funnel-shaped openings. These act as end bearings for directly driven shafts, whose main bearings have ball heads or are of spring-material, pivoting in the housing. The other end of each shaft plugs into a brush. Each driven shaft can be of spring material, or have intermediate sections of such material. they can be arranged so as not to rotate about their lengthwise axes, so that brush vibrations occur in one direction only.</p> |
