<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of an accelerator pedal during the change in the speed of a vehicle, by providing an engine control circuit to automatically reduce the rotational frequency of an engine during the disengagement of a clutch, regardless of the quantity of depression of an accelerator pedal. CONSTITUTION:The quantity 200 of depressing of an accelerator pedal is found out by a detector 10 and applied to an engine control circuit 12 which has a two-dimensional map in which a basic fuel injection quantity QBASE corresponds to the quantity of depression of the accelerator pedal and the rotational frequency of an engine. The map is searched on the basis of the quantity 200 of depression and a detection signal 206 for an engine rotational frequency detector 50 to determine the basic fuel injection quantity QBASE. The determined injection quantity is modified by detected various state quantities to determine a fuel injection quantity Q to cause an electrical current 202 corresponding to the quantity Q. As a result, a speed-changing operation is automatically performed through the engine control circuit 12 to reduce the burden on the driving person.</p> |
