PURPOSE:To measure an effective period of an insecticide, an aromatic agent, a deodorant, etc. by forming a non-fading printing picture of a character, a symbol, etc. on a base material by ink containing a coloring material which is not discolored nor faded by a nitrogen oxide gas (NO), and covering it with a coloring agent layer faded by NO through a transparent varnish. CONSTITUTION:An NO non-fading printing picture of a character, a symbol, a picture pattern, etc. is formed on an optional base material, and the printing picture is covered with a coloring agent layer which is faded by NO, by the same system color through a transparent varnish. An NO fading coloring agent layer consisting of a mixture of a cellulose ester compound resin binder of acetyle cellulose compound varnish, cellulose propionate, cellulose acetate butyrate, etc. and a dyestuff faded by NO of an anthrachinon dyestuff, and as for a quantity and a thickness of the coloring agent layer, for instance, when a dyestuff of 0.05- 1.00pts.wt. is contained in a binder of 100pts.wt., it is enough. Also, as for this thickness, 0.5-2mu is enough. |
