PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for adjustment by a variable resistance, etc., even when a shift in the position where liquid crystal is viewed occurs by supplying a driving voltage which varies at a specific period from a power circuit to the driving power terminal of a liquid-crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:The liquid-crystal display device 11 is applied with a voltage (VDD-V0) between its power terminal VDD and driving terminal V0. An AC voltage (v) from an AC waveform generating circuit 16 is superposed upon a DC voltage supplied from the variable resistance 14 through a capacitor 15 for coupling. Therefore, a voltage varying by the variation value of the AC voltage (v) about the voltage V0 is applied to the driving power terminal V0 of the display device 11. The driving voltage varies with time, so the angle of vision to the display device 11 varies with time to obtain a display which is easy to see from any position. Therefore, the adjustment by the variable resistance, etc., is unnecessary. |
