The two sets of ball bearings (2,3) are held between the inner-and outer races without cages. A single inner ring (1) has two bearing surfaces while two separate outer rings are pressed against the two races by an outer sleeve (6). The sleeve is spring loaded by an elastic packing ring (7). The races are inserted before the elastic ring is fitted, by pushing away from the inner race. The packing requires no special tools to fit. |
