PURPOSE:To improve the motor efficiency by detecting the magnetic flux variation due to irregular rotor magnet surface by a rotation detecting coil, thereby increasing the area of a main pole. CONSTITUTION:A flat motor is composed of face opposing rotor magnets 8, a rotor yoke 2, a shaft 3, a stator coil 4, a stator yoke 5, and a bearing 7. In this case, multipolar irregular surface is formed on the outer periphery of the magnet 8, and a rotation detecting coil 9 for detecting it and its core 10 are provided. Thus, the magnet 8 has a main magnet 8a and a rotation detecting magnet 8b, and the magnet 8b is not formed on the magnet 8a, the area of the magnet 8a can be increased to increase the output of the motor. |
