PURPOSE:To reduce power loss by coupling the impeller shaft of an exhaust turbine, which is driven by the exhaust energy of an internal-combustion engine, with the rotor shaft of a power generator coaxially, and thereby allowing two bearings to support them. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas of an internal-combustion engine is fed into a scroll part 2a of turbine housing 2 so as to rotate the turbine impeller 3, and then the gas is discharged out of the after exhaust hole 2b. This turbine impeller 3 is formed solidly with a turbine impeller shaft 3a by ceramic material as in a single piece, and the rotor shaft 11 of a power generator 10 installed coaxially to the impeller shaft 3a is also formed solidly therewith as in a single piece. The impeller shaft 3a and rotor shaft 11 are borne by bearing housing 8, arranged between the turbine housing 2 and generator housing 13, and a bearing 20 in another bearing housing 16 at the side of said generator housing 13. |
