PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body with high sensitivity and superior durability by forming an electrophotograhic sensitive layer contg. a specified disazo compound as a charge generating substance and a specified charge transferring substance on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic sensitive body contg. a disazo compound represented by general formula I or II as a charge generating substance and at least one kind of compound represented by general formula III, IV or V as a charge transferring substance has high sensitivity and superior durability, and it can be used as not only the sensitive body of an electrophotographic copying machine but also the sensitive body of a printer using laser or a cathode-ray tube as a light source, the photoconductive layer of the image pickup tube of a video camera, the photoconductive layer of a solid-state image pickup element or the photoconductive layer of a solar cell. |
