PURPOSE:To restart next image processing speedily by performing specific processing on the input of an image processing stop signal to a CPU including a memory stored with a program for image processing. CONSTITUTION:The CPU includes ROMs and RAMs stored with a control program and data for processing and a logical circuit which decodes the program. Various processing signals from input switches crossing an output CT are inputted to PIs 1-4, and DHP (drum home position), PF (paper feeding), and OHP (optical home position signal) are inputted from PIs 5-8. When a STOP key on a console panel is pressed during image processing operation in one cycle, a signal STOP and the discarge detection signal (CPOS) for copied paper are inputted to the CPU to decides on the stop signal repeatedly according to the program from the ROMs, and the DHP is searched for in one turn right after the PF turns off, and the copy cycle is stopped at the detection point. Therefore, the processing is restarted speedily. |
