发明名称 MEASURING DEVICE FOR INFILTRATION CAPACITY OF EARTH RELATIVE TO RAINWATER
摘要 PURPOSE:To reliably measure infiltration capacity of earth, by a method wherein a water feed pipe, feeding infiltration water into a tank therethrough, and a water level measuring pipe are erected at the interior of an impermeable tank, and holes through which water is infiltrated, are formed in the lower parts of the two pipes. CONSTITUTION:After a proper amount of water is sprinkled around an impermeable tank 1, city water is fed through a pipe 8 to a water feed pipe 6. In this case, water enters a trench tank and a water level measuring pipe 7 through holes 11, and water infiltrated into the trench tank is infiltrated into earth. The supply of water is continued, and after the supply of water through the pipe 8 is regulated so that a water level is caused to stay in a position 14, being 10cm below a ground surface, during a proper period of time, an amount of water which is fed in a container through the pipe 8 for one minute is measured. Thereafter, lowering of a water level in the water level measuring pipe 7 is measured by means of a float 10 and a graduated plate 9, and such measuring is repeated several times to find the filtration capacity of earth relative to an intermittent rainfall.
