PURPOSE:To shorten a temp. rising time of a reaction tube and to perform a thermal decomposition test under various conditions by heating the reaction tube in a molten metal bath in the titled apparatus of heavy oil such as vacuum remaining oil and coal-liquefied oil. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal (zinc, lead and tin, etc.) bath 12 is set to a prescribed temp. and the reaction tube 11 containing a sample is dipped therein. The temp. of the tube 11 attains rapidly a prescribed temp., and the sample is reacted and decomposed thermally. The reaction product is cooled by a cooler 16 through a heater 11a at an upper part of the reaction tube, and attained to a recovery device 17 and a dry ice trap 18, the thermally decomposed liquid is recovered thereat, and the thermally decomposed gas is measured by a gas meter 20. In this case, plural tubes 11 can be inserted into the bath 12, the tube 11 after the lapse of a prescribed time is pulled up, and the other tubes 11 are subjected succeedingly to the reaction. Thus, by using the bath 12, plural apparatuses are made unnecessary since the temp. of the tube 11 can be raised rapidly and the thermal decomposition test can be performed parallelly under various conditions of the same temp. and pressure. |
