The invention refers to a device for lifting and transport of objects, especially patients within healthcare or care of the elderly. The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the risk of injury associated with the heavy lifting which so often occurs within the above named lines of work. According to the invention, the device is comprised of a frame (1) as well as a lifting unit fixed to the frame (5), which is vertically movable along the frame (1). The lifting unit (5) comprises two endless bands (10, 11), which lie against each other. The device, according to the invention, is characterised by the frame comprising two pillars (4), from which the lifting unit (5) is adjustable.<IMAGE> |
