<p>PURPOSE:To improve dust collecting efficiency, to reduce noise, and to enhance responsiveness of a sensor by controlling the speed of operation depending on the output of the sensing part without suspending an air blowing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A motor 23 is driven at high, middle, or low speed by comparing the referential voltage V3, V2, and V1 of the negative input of comparators 39- 41 with the output voltage V of an amplifying circuit 14. If a high degree of contamination of a room is sensed by a sensing part 8, the driving speed of a blower is changed to a speed depending upon the degree of contamination even if the motor 23 is driven at middle or low driving speed. Since an air blowing device is always in a driving state during an air cleaner is driven, the response of the air blowing device to the change of degree of contamination of the room is quick. Moreover, it is driven at high speed by the change of the output voltage V if the degree of contamination is high, and driven at low speed if the degree of contamination is low, therefore, small particles can be collected without being blown away. Thus, dust collecting efficiency of a dust collecting part 7 is improved.</p> |
