<p>PURPOSE:To automatically attach a handle to a container for labor saving by regulating a handle attaching section in a predetermined direction while transferring continuously the containers, then taking out handles from a magazine, inserting them into said attaching section one by one and attaching them to the container. CONSTITUTION:When containers 1 are transferred continuously on a conveyer 12, the containers 1 are indexed at a predetermined pitch by a timing screw 16 and sent to a direction regulating unit 17 where they are rotated on their own axes by the contact with a sponge part 34 and transferred. Then, a notch 5 on the upper portion of the container 1 engages the corresponding stopper 30 supported pivotably by a chain 18 so that the container 1 is located to align the direction of a handle attaching section with a certain one. Next, when the container 1 reaches a handle take-out and inserting unit 58, it is sequentially sent out of a magazine 35 so that a handle 3 standing by on a push bar is inserted into an attaching section 4 by the operation of a cylinder 78. Thereafter, this handle 3 is pushed into the attaching section by a pushing unit 80.</p> |
