PURPOSE:To expand economically a matrix switch by expanding a matrix circuit to constitute finally an NXN matrix switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:Sixty-four sets of 8X15 matrix switch circuits 4-1-4-64 at the input side, 64 sets of 8X15 matrix switch circuits 6-1-6-64 at the output side and a 64X64 matrix switch circuit 5-1 between the input side and the output side form the basic circuit. The expanding means is shown in the connection in dotted lines for the two 64X64 matrix switch circuits 5-2 and 5-3. The matrix scale is expanded from 64X64 into 128X128 by the said expanding means. The scale of matrix is expanded up to 512X512 by the same expanding means similarly. |
