PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the disposal of a used wire electrode in a wire cut electric discharge machining device utilizing an electric discharge machining wire electrode having therein axial slits, by providing a means for forming the used wire electrode into a flat-like shape. CONSTITUTION:In a wire cut electric discharge machining device in which machining liquid for electric discharge machining is filled through slits axially formed in a pipe-like wire electrode 1 into the hollow section of the latter, there are provided a pair of rollers 21 serving as a means for forming the pipe- like wire electrode which has been used, into a flat-like shape. With this arrangement, the rollers 21 are disposed in a means 2 for guiding the wire electrode on the leading-out side, feeding the machining liquid and leading out and forming the used wire electrode. The plate-like member 14 obtained by collapsing the pipe-like wire electrode 1 is led out to the outside uner action of leading- out rollers 37. |
