<p>PURPOSE:The titled magenta composition, containing a specific water-soluble dye as a colorant, having inmproved water and the light resistance after recording without causing clogging, and suitale for printing, writing utensils, recorders and stamping. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous ink composition containing a water-soluble dye of formula I [R1 and R2 are H, OH or (substituted) amino; R2 and R3 are H, alkyl alkoxyl or halogen; X is cation such as H, Na, K or Li or organic amine; n is an integer 1, 2, or 3], e.g. the compound of formula II, as a colorant in an amount of preferably 1.5-6pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. ink. 5-30pts.wt. wetting agent, e.g. diethylene glycol, and sodium dehydroacetate as an antifungal agent are, if necessary, added thereto.</p> |
