<p>PURPOSE:The titled black composition, containing a specific water-soluble dye as a colorant, having improved water resistance and light resistance after recording without causing clogging in using for ink jet recording, and suitable for printing, writing utensils, recorders and stamping. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous composition containing a water-soluble dye of formula I [R1 and R2 are H, alkyl(sulfonyl), phenyl(sulfonyl) or acyl; R2 and R4 are H, alkyl, alkoxyl, halogen or sulfonic acid; Ar1 and Ar2 are (substituted) phenyl or naphthyl; X is cation such as H, Li, K, Na or organic amine, etc.; n is 1 or 2], e.g. the compound of formula II as a colorant, in an amount of preferably 1.5-6pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. ink. 5-30pts.wt. wetting agent, e.g. diethylene glycol, and sodium dehydroacetate as an antifungal agent are if necessary added thereto.</p> |
