PURPOSE:To rotate simply a picture without use of any mechanical moving part by converting a standard deflection signal to an electron beam of a cathode ray tube into a rotary deflection signal. CONSTITUTION:A standard deflection signal generating means 9 generates sawtooth waveform of standard deflection signals S1, S2 in synchronizing with a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal generating means 8. Then a deflection signal converting means 10 converts the standard deflection signals S1, S2 into rotary deflection signals U1, U2 in response to rotary angle information Itheta corresponding to a rotary angle theta from a rotation control means 12. The rotation deflection signals U1, U2 are impressed to deflection electrodes of the cathode ray tube 1 via a deflection drive means 11. Thus, the picture is rotated simply without using any mechanical moving part. |
