PURPOSE:To obtain a coating device which applies simultaneously >=2 kinds coating liquids as double layers to a base material, which has an endless continuous face, in one coating process. CONSTITUTION:Only required quantities of coating liquids S1 and S2 different from each other are supplied to distributing chambers 3A and 3B through pipes 4A and 4B by pumps. These coating liquids S1 and S2 are distributed in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical drum and are flowed out uniformly onto a slide part 7 from coating liquid flow outlets 6A and 6B through distributing slits 5A and 5B in the circumferential direction and are formed in two layers while flowing down on the slide part 7, and they form a bridge between a hopper edge 8 and the outside circumferential face 11 of a cylindrical base material 10 through the slide part 7 to form a bead, and coating liquids are applied as two layers L1 and L2 on the outside circumferential face 11 of the base material by this bead.
