PURPOSE:To improve the liquid leakage resistant property by decompressing the pressure within a battery from a hole in the bottom portion of a positive electrode case after coupling a positive electrode container and a negative electrode container, and releasing the air between a separator and a catalyst layer into the outside of a battery system, and sealing the hole. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst layer 5 is inserted into a positive electrode case 1, and a container consisting of a negative electrode sealing plate 9 and a sealing ring 8 is filled with a hardened zinc negative electrode and an alkali electrolytic solution, and after coupling the container the pressure within a battery is decompressed from an air hole 2, and the opening portion of the positive electrode case 1 is bent inwardly to seal the battery under fixed pressure. At this time, the air within the separator 6 is also eliminated, and the separator 6 closely contacts with a catalyst layer 5. And when the electrolytic solution in the negative electrode side penetrates into the separator side, even if returning to the normal pressure, the embracement of air is eliminated. Whereby, it is possible to stabilize the internal resistance and to improve the liquid leakage resistant property. |
