ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE WITH HEART BEAT METER

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by making a heart beat measuring circuit operate intermittently at a preset time interval. CONSTITUTION:A timer means 2 is set beforehand with respect to a time interval by means of an outside button switch or the like and is operated according to a clock 10 sent from a timepiece element 1. Moreover, the timer means 2 delivers output signals 11 and 12 at every preset time interval. A heart beat measuring circuit 3 operates according to the output signal 12 of the timer means 2 and measures a heart beat intermittently. A sound outputting means 4 generates a sound according to the output signal 11 of the timer means 2 so as to inform the operation of the hart beat measuring circuit 3.
