MOUNTING POSITION INSPECTING DEVICE FOR MICRO PARTS

PURPOSE:To perform an inspection stably by photographing a shadow generated with a shield plate when angular micro parts are exposed slantly to light to compare the condition of the shadow with the reference position information. CONSTITUTION:Angular micro parts 2 mounted on a printed circuit board 1 is exposed slantly to light from a light source 3. A shadow 7 of a shield plate 4 which is set between the light source 3 and the angular micro parts 2 to intercept a part of light on the angular micro parts 2 is formed on an angular micro part 2a. The end of the shield plate 4 is made straight beforehand and when the shadow thereof is formed on an object having a height, the straight shadow of the end of the shield plate 4 bends according to the height. Thus, the bent shadow formed on the angular micro parts 2 is caught with a camera 5 set slantly to be converted into an electrical signal.
