PURPOSE:To achieve efficiently the continuous pulse burning even by using various gas by a method wherein a flow rate adjusting nozzle is arranged in the vicinity of the intake port of a burning chamber at the downstream side of a flap valve which is provided at the intermediate position of a fuel supply passage and/or an air supply passage, then the flow rate adjusting nozzle is changed. CONSTITUTION:A gas and an air are supplied into a burning chamber 2 through a fuel supply passage 3 and an air supply passage 4. At the ignition by an ignition plug 20, flap valves 10, 17 in the fuel supply passage 3 and the air supply passage 4 are closed by the igniting pressure, a fuel and a burning air are cut-off. At the exhaustion of the burning gas in the burning chamber 2 through a tail pipe 5, the inside of the burning chamber 2 becomes negative pressure, then the both flap valves 10, 17 are opened, the fuel and air are supplied into the burning chamber 2. The fuel and air are ignited and burnt by a high temperature exhaust gas sucked simultaneously into the burning chamber 2, those operations are continued intermittently. In case that a kind of gas as the fuel is varied, the gas quantity and air quantity are changed by varying the hole diameter of a nozzle 15 and/or 19, accordingly, the pulse burning can be performed efficiently. |
