Weight totaliser for hydraulic crane scale comprising a piston/cylinder device whose piston is controlled by a spring to be held in and returned to a starting position and is connected to an indicator integrated in the totaliser. Said piston/cylinder device is hydraulically connected to the crane scale via a non-return valve that normally holds said connection closed but can be controlled, preferably remote controlled, for opening of the same, thereby allowing hydraulic oil from the crane scale when laden to displace the piston and thereby move the indicator to an angle corresponding to the weight of the load suspended in the crane scale. Standard totalisers of this type have a source of measurement error that is added to each weighing operation. To eliminate this source of error and also make taring possible, a gear segment (12) that works together with a gear rack and can be actuated by one of the pistons (8) is designed to transfer piston movement caused by hydraulic oil to the indicator (22). The piston segment, together with the gear rack, can be set to a starting position in relation to the piston and is connected to a shaft (13) bearing the indicator (22) via a freewheel (14), which turns the shaft (13) and thereby the indicator (22) during piston movement caused by hydraulic oil, but releases the shaft (13) from the piston segment (12) during piston movement to the starting position caused by the spring. The shaft (13) bearing the indicator (22) is controlled by brake force from a brake assembly (15-18, 20) to prevent it from turning during the piston's return movement to the starting position after the non-return valve is closed.<IMAGE> |
