The closure, which comprises a solid main body 1 connected at its end 3 to the jewel, is hollowed out in its central zone 5 and it supports a foot 7 ending in a pin 8 on which a right-angled rocker 9 whose vertical branch 9b is subject to the action of a leaf spring 11 can pivot so that the rest position of the rocker 9, that interacting with the end 2 of the main body 1, holds the movable end 6 of the jewel, the above-described assembly being enclosed in a casing 12 having, on its vertical lateral walls, windows 13 in which the crosspiece 15 of a movable piece 14 can slide enabling the rocker 9 to be rotated in order to disengage the end of the ring of the hook 2 in order to withdraw the free part or end 6 of the jewel or the like, or, on the other hand, in order to introduce it behind the ring 2 in order to fasten the jewel to the neck or to the wrist of the person; the introduction is also effected automatically without manoeuvring the sliding movable piece 14. <IMAGE>
