<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled transfer foil extremely excellent in design by a method wherein thermoset resin or the like is coated onto the surface of a heat- resistant basic film and dried and, after that, cured and embossed and finally a releasing layer, a hiding layer and a bonding layer are successively formed onto said thermoset resin. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, resin composition 2, which is adherent to a basic film 1 and at the same time the main component of which is thermoset resin, is coated onto the surface of the heat-resistant basic film 1 and dried at a temperature below the curing temperature of the thermoset resin of the composition 2 (hereinafter referred simply as the curing temperature). Secondly, an embossing roll 3, which is heated above the curing temperature, is pressed against the layer of the resin composition 2 so as to simultaneously emboss and cure the resin composition 2. Finally, a releasing layer 6, a design pattern layer 7, a hiding layer 8 and a bonding layer 9 are successively formed onto the surface of the cured resin composition in order to obtain an intended transfer foil.</p> |
