The pump body (1) has a concave seat (2) with a hemispherical wall (3) to which a tube (4) for the blood stream is connected. An arm (5) can be set in rotation by an electric motor or by manually operated and has at its end branches (6,7) in which rollers (8,9) are located in an identical manner. The roller (8) is mounted on two bearings and is acted upon by an intermediate free running wheel so that rotation of the roller (8) is only possible in one direction. Thus the arm can only run in the same direction on the tube and is blocked from moving in the opposite direction such that a mistake can not be made during manual operation.
