The invention relates to a device allowing, according to the version, the Arabic alphabet to be learned in its various forms, and all the roots and the majority of the common words of the Arabic language to be composed by virtue of six rotating concentric discs housed in a protective pocket heat-sealed on its four sides 2 and having, on its upper face, three slots allowing each of the discs to be manually actuated 4, the word composed to be read 3, and one or more discs to be fixed at once 5. The trilingual version of the invention serves for learning the letters and composing the common words of all the languages using the Latin alphabet, especially French, English and Spanish. The word composed with the trilingual version includes at most nine letters. <IMAGE>
