Benzoxadine derivs. of formula (I), including racemates and their acid addn. salts, are prepd. by reacting compds. of formula (I') with H2NR11. In the formulas, R1 and R2 are each H or C1-4 alkyl; R3 and R4 are each H or C1-4 alkoxy; R5 and R6 are each H or Me; R7 is of formula (III); R is H or C1-4 alkyl; R8 is C1-4 alkyl, CONHR11, OR12, methoxycarbonyl or ethoxy carbonyl; R9 is H or OR12; R10 is H, Me or methoxy; R11 is H, Me, ethyl or hydroxyethyl; R12 is H or aryl-CH2; R15 is substd. alkyl; and n is 1,2 or 3. (I) are useful as hypotensive and tocolytic agents. (I') is of formula (I), where R7 is of formula (II).
