PURPOSE:To facilitate the shape control for a plate and to smoothly transport a plate by arranging guide rollers for preventing falling of a cut plate in such manner that the lower rollers are brought into contact with the plate earlier than the upper rollers in an apparatus for transporting a cut plate with the lateral direction set perpendicularly. CONSTITUTION:A metal cut plate (a) having a longitudinal warp is first brought into contact with the lowermost guide roller 2a in the state of (a) and vertically erected to be in the state of (b). Subsequently, the plate is brought into contact with the second stage guide roller 2b to be in the state of (c). The plate is brought into contact with guide rollers 2c, 2c sequentially to be erected perpendicularly, In this arrangement, the metal cut plate is brought into contact with the guide rollers 2a-2d sequentially to be changed from the state of (a) to the vertical state, whereby the plate can be transported smoothly without flying at the guide rollers. |
